Nassau Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS)
Airport Hotels and Accommodation
(Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas, West Indies)
Bahamas Nassau International Airport (NAS) is located 16 km / 10 miles west of the city of Nassau on the island of New Providence, and is a relatively small facility with only two runways and a small selection of terminal facilities. The airport provides visitors with access to the islands of the Bahamas, which are popular holiday destinations among both American and international holidaymakers, containing a wealth of hotels and other accommodation.
Typical of the Bahamas, Nassau is certainly not a cheap place to stay, with accommodation rates often verging on the outrageous. However, if you are persistent with your search for lodging and prepared to stay away from Cable Beach, you will find that hotels quickly become more affordable.

Worth noting, when you arrive at Nassau International Airport itself, do take a look in the immigration lounge, where a notice board usually features current information about a number of popular small hotels.

Nassau: City Hotels and Accommodation
The hotels in the Nassau area are largely tourist establishments. However, business travellers will find a good selection of business services at The British Colonial Hilton Nassau, which is aimed primarily at business travellers.
Lodging in downtown Nassau tends to be amongst the city's cheapest, lining Augusta Street, Bay Street, Delancy Street, Market Street, Parliament Street and West Street, although many of these hotels are fairly small. Accommodation around Nassau's nearby Cable Beach is generally more pricey, although the resorts are fairly modern and comprehensive, with excellent amenities, including swimming pools, restaurants and spectacular coastal views.
A number of fairly modest, mid-range accommodation options can be found in downtown Nassau, with popular choices including the Park Manor Guest house on Market Street, the Harbour Moon Hotel at the corner of Devaux Street and Bay Street, and the Sunshine Guest house off West Street. Also worth noting, the upscale British Colonial Hilton Hotel along downtown's Bay Street boasts almost 300 guest rooms, including more than 20 spacious suites. The Hilton is known for its views, with many of the rooms overlooking a private beach, marina and landscaped gardens.
